Our Policy, Plainly

Blackbox-Audio subscriptions are billed monthly at $9.99/month through Stripe. Because content is immediately and fully accessible the moment your subscription activates, we do not offer refunds for change-of-mind cancellations or for subscription periods that have already begun - except in the circumstances outlined below.

Try before you subscribe. Every page on Blackbox-Audio includes a free preview of its content. We built it that way on purpose - so you can verify the value for yourself before committing a single dollar. If you've read the previews and liked what you saw, you already know what's inside.

When We Issue Refunds

We will issue a full or partial refund in the following situations:

  • Billing error: You were charged an incorrect amount, charged more than once for the same period, or experienced any other payment processing error on our end.
  • Access failure: You paid successfully but magic link delivery failed and our support team was unable to resolve the issue within a reasonable timeframe (48 hours).
  • Required by law: Where applicable consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction require a refund, we will comply fully. EU and UK subscribers have specific rights under applicable digital content regulations, and we honor those rights.

Cancellations

You can cancel your subscription at any time using the Stripe billing portal. After canceling:

  • Your access continues until the end of your current billing period.
  • You will not be charged again after the current period ends.
  • No refund is issued for the remainder of the current billing period.
  • You may re-subscribe at any time using the same or a new payment method.

How to Request a Refund

If you believe you're eligible for a refund, contact us via the Site's contact information with the following details:

  • The email address used during your Stripe checkout
  • The approximate date of the charge in question
  • A brief description of the issue

We will review your request and respond within 2 business days. Approved refunds are processed through Stripe and typically appear within 5–10 business days depending on your bank or card issuer.

Can't Log In?

If you can't access your account, use the Login page to request a new magic link sent to your email. This is free and takes seconds. You do not need a refund to regain access.

Disputes & Chargebacks

We strongly encourage you to contact us before initiating a dispute or chargeback with your bank. Most issues can be resolved quickly and directly. Chargebacks initiated without contacting us first may result in permanent deactivation of your account and may prevent future subscriptions.
